Superintendent's Report

  • Celebration of the FLES Summer Camp | watch video
    Superintendent Kaczkowski thanked Director of Language Programs Dr. Theresa Ulrich for her leadership and support of the Foreign Language at the Elementary School (FLES) summer camp.
  • Construction Update | watch
    Jack Hayes from FQC, updated the Board on summer construction. Everything looks good and on time. A lot of work still to be done before the start of the school year.
  • Data Incident with Pearson | watch
    Dr. Kaczkowski explained that the Pearson Clinical Assessment company recently informed Glen Ellyn School District 41 that they experienced a data security incident related to their AIMSweb 1.0 product by an unauthorized third party. The district contacted Pearson to learn more about how District 41 may have been impacted and will update the Board when we learn more.
  • Entry Plan Update | watch
    Dr. Kasczkoski shared revisions of the entry plan based on Board member feedback. The Board discussed and asked questions related to the revisions.

    Chief Communications Officer Erika Krehbiel reflected back on the past school year and presented a plan moving forward. She also shared community and staff survey options for the Board to consider.
