MUSTANG SPOTLIGHT - MRS. ROBYN MORRIS, EDUCATIONAL AIDE AT WHITNEY ELEMENTARY
Mrs. Robyn Morris is in this week’s Mustang Spotlight. Mrs. Morris is an Educational Aide at Whitney Elementary. She has worked in our District for 20 years, with 18 of those years at Whitney. A resident of Strongsville, Mrs. Morris has two children who have graduated from Strongsville High School. She says it is one of the reasons she wanted to work in our District - “to be alongside my children as they grew and developed through their elementary years.”
Mrs. Morris enjoys the many rewards from working with students at Whitney, “The thing I like most about my job is the opportunity to work with students and see the tremendous growth they go through. I have been honored to watch students go from having great difficulty in reading to excelling. I love working with students in reading and math. It's so special to see a smile on a child's face when they accomplish a task or to see a smile just because they are enjoying life. It's a pleasure getting to know them in the classroom and at recess. Working with students brings me great joy and pride as they grow and excel.”
She adds, “Working at Whitney, we all have the common goal of improving our students. Whether it's a teacher, an aide, or the principal, our uniting factor is the best interest of the students. We have an awesome staff at Whitney where everyone works well together. I'm amazed how dedicated, talented and kind our staff is towards the children. It has been a wonderful part of my life working in this great environment.”
Thank you Mrs. Morris for being a special part in the lives of our Whitney students!
