Metals, non metals, and metaloids
By: Raul Buenvenida
The Metals
Metals include iron, copper, & lead. They have a shiny luster and conduct electricity and heat well. They are also malleable. That means that they can bend with out breaking.
The Non-metals
Non-metals are mostly gasses. If they aren't then they are brittle and dull (not shinny). Carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen are examples.
The Metaloids
Metaloids are the middle ground between the two other types. They can or can't conduct, be malleable, and have a mix of other metals and non-metals.
