Mrs. Michael's News & Notes
October 17-21
Hello October!
I hope this wonderful weather lasts for awhile, but it's Texas so we will never know! The kids have been working so hard this week even though it was a short week. In Math, we are still practicing how to multiply by 1 digit number. Allow your kids to show you the different strategies we have learned in class on how to multiply. In Writing, we worked on writing effective and catchy lead sentences. In Reading, we wrote various types of poems and had so much fun! In Grammar, we discussed all the tricky homophones like to, two, too and there, their, and they're. Whoo! Those can be confusing! In Science, we tested and completed a closed circuit and the kids loved it! I will add some pictures of wonderful scientists! We had a wonderful week and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!
