Symbaloo-store your bookmarks!
Symbaloo http://www.symbaloo.com/ A web 2.0 tool to use to gather all your bookmarks together in one place in an easy to read way. Check out my symbaloo for online resources. http://amykline.wikispaces.com/
Thinglink-An interactive Photo
Thinglink http://www.thinglink.com/ A new (to me) website that has lots of educational potential. Use a photo and then embed notes, video, data, etc. directly into it. Here is a quick one as I was testing it out: https://www.thinglink.com/scene/373991866959396864#tlsite
Storybird-add the pictures, then write the story
Storybird- http://storybird.com/ A fun little story writing website. You choose the illustration style, place the pictures on the page, and then write the story that the pictures inspire. Here is one I made collaboratively with the Kinders a couple years ago: http://storybird.com/books/the-tale-of-the-cheese-cat-from-wisconsin/?token=s4r39tadxm
Glogster-an interactive Poster
Glogster- Interactive Digital Poster Creator
1. Use the desktops
2. Use Chrome for the browser
3. Don't embed video unless you talk to me first. It sometimes freezes and there is a fix.
Glogster is a great tool to use as a product that has a mixture of visuals. All district staff and students already have a username and password. See me if you are interested in trying it out! I can help you get set up.
Click on Glogster or go the Red Smith Library website and it is located under Students
