This Week at Bransom

This week at Bransom will be another relatively quiet week, but there are a couple of things going on around campus. We'll begin our Fall MAP Testing on Monday, so it''s important for students in grades 3-5 to charge their Chromebooks each night to more easily administer the tests without losing too much time.

If you're unfamiliar with MAP testing, It's a diagnostic test used to gauge the level of knowledge and understanding a student has. There are no class grades associated with the test, it's simply a way for us to gather data on each student and see where their strengths and weaknesses lie in order for us to best help each student. Some teachers, do however, use it as a way to help students set personal growth goals and challenge themselves for each future administration of the tests.

Tuesday marks the final day for the Big Kahuna Fundraiser. Please turn in any order forms to your child's homeroom teacher by the end of the day on Tuesday so orders can be submitted.

And finally, on Wednesday, 5th grade students will be attending a performance at the Bass Concert Hall in Fort Worth.

I hope everyone has a great week and as always, if there is anything that we can help you with, please do not hesitate to call.
