Second Grade
Students in second grade have been working in centers the last few weeks and will continue while we research solid, liquid, and gases. Centers include: a computer station where students perform experiments to learn about states of matter, two listening centers where students practice comprehension skills after listening to a story, and teacher center where students are creating a video where they perform an experiment on states of matter.
3rd- 5th grades
Students in these grades are creating a TouchCast video about either the causes or effects of a war ( 3rd-Civil War, 4th-American Revolution, 5th-WWII). Students have researched either the causes or effects of one of the wars, created a news script to share their research, and then they will create a video in the TouchCast app on the ipad. Students are working very hard! They are working on this in both the library and the computer lab.
