Franklin County Battle of the Books

The Battle of the Books program is open to 4th and 5th grade students who enjoy reading. Each grade level has a list of 25 books from which they read. The students will then be given a written exam in the spring to see how many books they completed. The top 12 students in both grades will advance to the school competition where they will use the buzzer system to compete against one another for the top six spots and a place on the All-Star team. The All-Star team will then compete against the top teams from all of the elementary schools in Franklin County in order to determine the district winner.
