Mr. Perry
Mr. Perry
Mr. Perry is Mr. Woodhouse's apothecary, or pharmacist. He is “an intelligent, gentlemanlike man, whose frequent visits were one of the comforts of Mr. Woodhouse's life” (Austen 17). Earlier on, it said that Mr. Woodhouse could become easily depressed and that is why he always goes to Mr. Perry for help (5). If he is always asking for help, it means he is his best customer and that is what makes Mr. Perry content to have him as his client.
