GT NOMINATIONS FOR 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR – Nominations are Due Friday, December 17
All second grade students participated in the CogAT assessment in October. The CogAT assessment will serve as a GT screener for second grade students. Parents may now nominate, one time per level of test. In other words, students may test once each school year to see if they meet district requirements and /or qualify in other subject areas.
GT testing will be held at Giesinger during the school day the weeks of January 24 – 28 and January 31- February 4. Nomination forms may be returned to your student’s 3rd and 4th grade teacher OR to Jocy in the front office. ALL NOMINATION forms are due NO LATER THAN December 17!
An Update from Nurse Corbit
We are so thankful that Covid rates have dropped to a low level and most of our campus is really healthy! We still have mosquitoes on the playground, so remember to spray those arms and legs before school if your little one is getting bit!
Also, a little known fact is that cough drops are considered a medicine here in CISD, so we ask that if your child needs them, please check them into the Clinic and sign a permission form. If your child has a referral sent home, please contact the clinic with questions and recommendations.
Take Care! Nurse Corbit and Ms. Danielle.
