My Passion

In 2014, I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a B.A in Communication and a Minor in Marketing. Soon after, I obtained a Masters of Arts in Teaching.

I began teaching dance about 10 years ago, and my love of teaching has continuously grown, ever since. Whether it be the smile on the students' faces, or the art of teaching itself, it is all something that I love and look forward to every single time that I step into a classroom. Every day, every class, every year is different, and the fun and exciting part of it is having the opportunity to learn and grow every step of the way. As a teacher, I have the opportunity to truly make a difference in a child's life, whether I think so or not. Knowing that at any moment I could inspire a child in the smallest way, gives me enough motivation for a lifetime. This job isn't about me. It's about having a heart for serving others, the professionalism to know there's always room to learn more, and the tools to provide your students with lessons that will last a lifetime.

I cannot wait to see what all this experience teaches me, and I'm excited to embark on this new journey.

My Goals

My goal as a professional is to inspire students to be the best that they can be. Each day I will work diligently to overcome any adversity that may present itself in the class, and will work to create an environment filled with respect and learning. Every student should leave my class feeling empowered, knowing that they can accomplish whatever goals they may have for themselves. It is my job, as an educator, to learn from my students and to constantly grow as a professional.
