November Newsletter
Thank you to all of the parents who came to parent conferences on October 27. Constant home-school communication helps us better support your child. If you have not yet had a conference with your child's teacher, please take the time to schedule a time to meet soon.
Teachers have started providing morning tutorial from 7:25am -7:55am for those students who need a little extra support or those who are ready to move forward with more advanced content. It is important that we take advantage of all the time we have to support students. We are also trying limit interruptions during instructional time. We ask that is you have something to leave for your child, a message of for the teacher or other items for the classroom that you leave them in the front office. We will deliver the materials or information while the students are at specials or during lunch. If you are coming to observe in the classroom we ask that you make an appointment with the teacher so that you will be able to observe at an appropriate time that will meet your needs without a lot of disruption. Teachers are to return phone calls and email as soon as possible. If you are not getting a reply to your messages, please let Dr. Henry or myself know. Five minutes of lost time daily equals 15 hours of lost instructional time each year.
November is a short but busy month. Please take the time to read below and monitor the school website for additional information released from the district and state before the December Newsletter. Starting in January we will be a newsletter every two weeks.

Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. Individual data results from the Georgia Parent Survey will not be available to the public and will not be posted online.
