Cambrian Weekly Update
WEEK #15, December 4, 2020
Dear Cambrian Families,
I hope each of you had a wonderful, restful Thanksgiving break. There are only two weeks left before the Winter holiday break. This will go down as one of the most unusual years any of us has ever seen, but I am grateful to the amazing families and staff who have made this year engaging and enriching.
Earlier today, I sent you a message updating you on the current status of our District in regard to reopening plans. Please make sure to read it over, as it provides insight into our next steps in Cambrian School District.
We have tried to remain fluid in our efforts to follow the ever-changing guidelines from the Santa Clara County Department of Public Health. Please bear with us as we continue to assess the best steps moving forward for our students.
Thank you for your patience and partnership with us as we move forward, placing the health and safety of our students and staff as our highest priority. Have a wonderful weekend and thanks again for your relentless support of the Cambrian School District. We are CAMBRIAN!
Help Protect Student Programs
On behalf of Cambrian students, thank you to the 500+ plus people who already signed a letter of support. If you’ve already signed, please consider sharing this information with your family, friends and neighbors -- everyone can support the initiative.
You can help PROTECT STUDENT PROGRAMS by supporting the "Support Our Students" land development initiative. Thirty seconds of your time can help generate hundreds of thousands of dollars in ongoing, annual revenue without increasing taxes in the community. Click here to sign a letter of support and to learn more.
Due to chronic state underfunding, declining enrollment, and the COVID-19 pandemic, the Cambrian School District is facing a budget deficit. Since early 2019, the District has been assessing potential district-owned land development opportunities to create additional on-going, annual revenue to sustain our award-winning programs.
