Mason Gazette
October 27, 2017
Dear Mason Families,
Happy Friday! We had another wonderful week of learning and we are excited for everything next week will bring. As the school year progresses, I am sure your child(ren) will become more verbal as it pertains to sharing their successes and areas of concern with you. Please let us know if there is ever anything we can do at Mason to make your child(ren) even more successful than they are currently. Our goal is to make sure we are helping our students become better each day and your feedback is not only wanted but needed.
Have a wonderful weekend and can't wait to see everyone at the Haunted Garage Sunday (10.29),
Roy

Notes from the Main Office
During arrival time: Please allow your students to enter the building on their own if possible. It's a great way to help your child build independence and allows our learners an opportunity to start their school day off on the right foot. Please know that our staff is here to give them any assistance they might need. If you child has anxiety about entering the school by themselves, please let us know so we can work with you and your child on a plan that leaves everyone feeling successful.
During dismissal time: We try to ensure our learners at Mason are learning every minute of the school day and towards the end of the day, before dismissal, teachers are wrapping up their lessons and getting our learners ready to go home. We are asking that students be picked up on the playground unless an early dismissal has been called in ahead of time. Please do not enter the building to wait for your child. This is courtesy that we can't extend to every Mason parent if they asked so we want to be fair and consistent to everyone involved.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Operation Warm
