A Message from our Principal...
Dear Jefferson Families,
Exciting times at Jefferson School in May! There are many fun things happening and still a lot of learning going on as curriculum units wrap up. The days fly by so quickly and yet, I truly hope that we can take a moment or two to stop, breathe it all in, and savor these moments. One such moment happened this past week. I was thrilled to participate in our district’s first Precious People event put on by our parent community liaisons. Nearly 200 students and their family members attended this night which was designed to celebrate our precious adults. This was an enjoyable evening and I was happy to connect with past students and get to know even more of our district families. These events help each of us to build stronger connections between home and school, a hugely important goal for us. Thank you so much Parent Community Liaisons and families for this event.
We have just a few weeks left of school and we’re hoping to have students continue their learning while having fun. This newsletter highlights a number of the things that we’ve planned as a school. Teachers will have other classroom events as well. Please feel free to contact the school if you have any questions or ideas for us.
Enjoy these next precious weeks,
Dr. Judy Floeter and Mrs. Tasha Rayas

Jefferson Days
The student council designed a 10-day recognition event to celebrate all we have accomplished this school year. The students will complete these mini-activities in a 10-page book that the student council members will finish this Friday. It is very reflective and relaxing and we hope everyone will enjoy it.
