Michael Jackson Black or White Lyrics

1. But, if you're thinkin' about my baby
It don't matter if you're black or white

2.And I told about equality and it's true
Either you're wrong or you're right

3. Don't tell me you agree with me
When I saw you kicking dirt in my eye

1. He doesn't discriminate against anyone.

2. He is all for equality.

3. Don't lie to me, I saw you talking about this behind my back.

This song came out in 1991, and this song is about racism and equality.

Don't tell me you agree with me
When I saw you kicking dirt in my eye

He would rather someone be straightforward with him than to lie in his face and pretend to be someone they're not. He already knew he was lying due to a previous encounter.

Artist: Michael Joseph Jackson

A.K.A. the King of Pop, was the seventh out of nine children. He also was the lead signer of the Jackson 5, Michael eventually went solo as a singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, and actor. Michael was a charitable and sensible guy, he always wanted to help those in need and he expressed it by donating to charities and through the songs he wrote. He wrote it because he wanted people to know that we shouldn't discriminate a person because of their race/ethnicity.

Overall Issue

The overall message that is presented in our song choice is not no one should discriminate because of their race. It's perfectly fine to love whoever you choose. Love is blind. This song is from the 1990s. Yes, we agree with the message because we believe that you should love who you want, it's alright to date outside of your race, there's nothing wrong with it, although many people still have issues with it. It's important because, this song is trying to help put an end to racism. We feel that it did and didn't at the same time, because there is interracial love that does exist and also some people still don't agree with it.
