Math
We will continue to take our math facts tests. After mixed addition, we are moving to timed subtraction facts tests. Keep working on these facts at home!
Language Arts
Handwriting cursive y, f, p, and j.
We will be reading the story, Head, Body, Legs, and focusing on the comprehension skill of Cause and Effect and Drawing Conclusions. We will continue to work on using context clues for vocabulary and visualizing while reading poems.
In writing, students will begin the process of writing a persuasive paragraph.
In Social Studies, the students will identify historical figures that have influenced our nation.
Science
Students will finish the Earth unit by communicating their knowledge of the Earth's features and resources.
