The Original State of Man, Original Sin and It's Consequences
Original Sin was a choice we made out of pride. We tried to eat from the fruit of knowledge because we thought it would make us greater than God. The consequences of Original Sin were losing eternal happiness with God, and gaining the inclination to sin.
Why Did the Word Become Flesh?
2. To Manifest God's Love- He did it to show all people how much He loved them. God has always believed in them. This was the only way because actions are greater than words.
3. To be a Model of Holiness- Now we have a human man that was 100% Loving of God and totally obedient to God's will as an example to our life.
4. To allow share in Divine Life- If Christ did not die for us we would not be able to get into Heaven because He forgave all of our sins so now we can enter into the fullness of His Heavenly Kingdom.

The Theological Virtues
If you have Faith in the Lord then you can trust him enough to listen to His will and follow it.
If you Hope for everlasting salvation and I everything that God has planned for, then you can prepare for what is coming.
Charity is the most important of all of these because without charity there would be no faith or hope. Charity refers to the selfless nature of Love. To love you need to be selfless, to be selfless you need to perform acts of charity.j

The Four Marks of the Church
These four adjectives are known as the Marks of the Church.
The Church is One because it is unified and completely agrees on topics of the faith. The reason this is possible is our founder was the One True God, Christ who, with the Father and the Holy Spirit are our ultimate guides to Salvation.
The Church is Holy because we were founded by Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and we continue to be guided by God in all things.
Catholic- (n.) universal The Church is universal in that it accepts everyone, for Jesus said that Salvation is for all who believe in him. So ANYONE who believes in Him will live forever.
The Church is Apostolic in it's founding on the 12 apostles chosen by Jesus. All clergy members have had hands laid on their heads in succession leading back to Peter, hand- picked by Jesus.

The Last Things
At Death our soul is taken from our body, and all possibility of conversion or merits halt. Our soul is taken to Judgement.
At the Particular Judgement, you meet with God who decides your fate to that of Purgatory, Heaven, or Hell. You go there immediately
Purgatory is the state of purification from venial sins so that we can enter into the Kingdom of God. The waiting can be interminable or short but it all depends on God. You must at least die with grace to be put here.
Heaven is eternal happiness with God. You are not separated, nor ever will be from His love.
Hell is eternal separation from God. The only way to get in here is to freely choose to turn away from God. Hell is a terrible place because all love and happiness stems from Him.
