Jenn Weidman, Rotary Peace Center at Chulalongkorn University, will talk about the importance of conflict sensitivity in project design in Southeast Asia. She will introduce concepts of peace and violence and approaches to conceptualizing the space in which interventions occur. Throughout the session, she will draw on a variety of examples throughout Southeast Asia.

Jenn is an anthropologist and area specialist in Thailand and Southeast Asia with over ten years experience working in the field and twenty years experience interacting with Thailand and Southeast Asia. She holds both a master’s and a bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University.
