Our Class Mission Statement
We will...
Listen carefully.
Learn together.
LOVE our friends.
BE GREAT LEADERS!!
Our learning this week:
Reading: We are working on characters and settings.
Writing: We finished our Star Student this week. We will continue with letter of the day. We have almost made it through the alphabet.
Phonemic Awareness- The following letters are the letters we have learned so far: Cc, Oo, Aa, Dd, Gg, Mm, Ll, Hh, Ii, Jj, Kk, Bb, Rr, Ww, Xx, Qq, Tt, Pp and Uu. Your child should be able to recognize these letters AND produce the sound the letter makes.
Math- We are working on recognizing and writing numbers 1-10 and counting to 20 (100 is the end of year expectation)
Leader in Me
Habit 1: Be Proactive - I'm in charge on myself.
We are scientists!
Thank you!

Tiger Run Information from McCulloch PTO
There are 3 CRITICAL things we need you to remember:
- First and foremost, as a reminder---we NEED you to register!! Mrs. Lyons & Mr. Allen have agreed to take a pie in the face if we reach 60% of students registered. We would LOVE to reach this goal ASAP!!!! To register you can simply click here: www.getmovinfundhub.com and for school identifier use the code: 5d2cc819d7e44. Did you register for a prior year's Tiger Run? Use the same log-in information and simply add your student to this year's event.
- We will be bringing various incentives to school each day, hopefully as promptly as we can after they earn them! This includes a custom #REPMO keychain, #REPMO bounce ball, and a #REPMO headband! Each child who registers will automatically get a custom tiger temporary tattoo! Not to mention Sonic drinks for teachers & popsicle parties!!! We LOVE to see you post & share photos of your students with their prizes so please don't hesitate to send them to us on the McCulloch Facebook page or you can always email them to us as well!! These pictures are SUPER helpful in promoting the event on Facebook for yourself as well---so tag us if you post!!!
- We have BIG goals this year for our funds---including indoor recess activities and board games for each classroom, a book vending machine, and inclusive playground equipment. We can't wait to get all of these items ordered as soon as the fundraising window closes!
Every Day Counts!
Don’t forget to check out our district’s #EveryDayCounts attendance awareness initiative at republicschools.org/everydaycounts. There, you’ll find information and resources like this graphic.
As families prepare for the busy school year ahead, the Republic School District has created a calendar of "ideal dates" for families to schedule appointments or vacations. These are days the district is already closed or not holding classes due to breaks, School Improvement Days or holidays. Therefore, students who have an appointment or scheduled vacation on these days will not miss any learning opportunities. Go to republicschools.org/everydaycounts for a printable version of the graphic below.
