Parent Mentor News
April 2019
Happy Spring! Check out the resources and events below to see what's happening in April. It's a busy month! A follow-up from the Read and Write for Google Chrome parent training is also included for those unable to attend.
Worthington Schools Special Education Department has purchased copies of Overcoming Dyslexia by Sally Shaywitz, M.D. for anyone interested in reading. A partnership between teachers and parents is a large piece of a student's ability to overcome dyslexia. Please send me an email if you would like to pick up your free copy at the WEC.
All the best,
Kristen

Attendees will learn how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. The training is FREE and includes a boxed lunch.
