Spain Park High School 01/31/2020
A Message from the Principal
Dear Parents,
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, February 6, 2020, for Curriculum Night. Current 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will begin at 5:30 pm in the Competition Gym with the Curriculum Fair, at 6:20 a Course Selection Information meeting will be in the Theater, and we will end with Advance Level/AP Information in the cafeteria at 7:10. This is a very important evening giving you access to our counselors, teachers, and administrators, as your student begins course selection for the 2020/2021 School Year. Our counselors will be meeting with each class on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, during the JAG period to start the course selection process (course selection sheets & four-year plans, rubrics, etc.) and individually through February. Please work closely with our counselors so we can guide your students in making the right decisions as mid-year course changes are difficult. Senior Parents, you are almost done! Josten’s will be taking orders for Cap and Gown on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, during the lunch hours.
During the year, we may face challenges and situations that raise concerns about the well being of your student. I want you to know that we take the concerns seriously and will do our due diligence to resolve those matters in the best interest of our students and our school. The safety of our students has always been and will always be our top priority. I encourage you to continue to work with the faculty, staff, and administration to help us keep Spain Park High School a safe place for all of our students to learn and enjoy high school life.
As always, I am available to hear your feedback on how we can make SPHS a great place to be.
Respectfully,
Peter L. Giangrosso
