May Newsletter 2021
Amy Belle Elementary
Principal Corner-Mrs. Kohel
The end of the year is quickly approaching! The students and staff are continuing to work hard this last quarter of the year. Although we have had to work through some challenges this year, we are thankful for all of the successes we have had. The focus of our character education work for May and June will be gratitude. This couldn't fit better as we reflect on all we are grateful for this year. We always encourage our students to practice the character trait skills at not only at school, but at home and in the community as well. Please take the time to talk to your children about what they have to be grateful for and ways they can show gratitude to those around them.
We truly can't thank our families enough for all of the support you have given our Amy Belle staff and students this year. Whether it was your understanding of the different safety precautions and procedures that were very different his year, or a donation that you made to the PTA or school- THANK YOU! The partnership between home and school needs to be strong to help all of our students reach their potential. We look forward to finishing up the school year positively and wish you all a fun and relaxing summer.
Sincerely,
Katie Kohel

PTA Spring Book Fair
This is a virtual book fair, the same as the one hosted in the fall. There are two options for shopping. First, kids and families can choose to shop at the "virtual fair", which is laid out as if we were in person. The kids can select books from carts, as they would have in our library. The second option is the online fair. The layout is similar to any other online shopping platform. Amy Belle earns money from every purchase to buy books for our kids classroom and school library. Please visit link below...
SHOPPING STARTS MAY 3RD THROUGH MAY 16TH!
