Grassland

Overview
Plant Life
Animal Life
A few examples of predator/prey relationships are cheetahs hunting zebras, wolves hunting rabbits, and lions hunting giraffes. An example of competition in this biome is tigers and hyenas competing for the same gazelle. And an example of cooperation is birds eating the ticks of the buffalo's coat. The bird is getting a nice dinner, while the buffalo is getting groomed.
Ecological Concerns
The grasslands are ranked number one with the most endangered species in all of the other biomes. Some of those endangered species consist of: Asia Elephants, Rothschild Giraffes, Black Rhinoceroses, and Barbary Leopards.

Fun Fact: Did you know that there are over 300 species of birds living in this biome?
