Our Discoveries:

My resource partner, Sally Jenkins, and I, Kennedy Cross, have made some very interesting discoveries on nuclear fusion on December 1st of 2015 in our laboratory located on 25 Iceland Street in NC. We have found that nuclear fusion can be used as an energy source. Continue reading to find out how we managed to find this out.

How nuclear fusion produces energy

"The fusion reaction that is easiest to accomplish is the reaction between two hydrogen isotopes: deuterium, extracted from water and tritium, produced during the fusion reaction through contact with lithium. When deuterium and tritium nuclei fuse, they form a helium nucleus, a neutron and a lot of energy."

We have found that nuclear fusion can be used for many things such as steam chambers to convert the heat from the fusion chamber into electricity.

What is Nuclear Fission?

> Nuclear Fission is the main process generating nuclear energy.

What is Nuclear Fusion?

> Nuclear Fusion is a nuclear reaction in which atomic nuclei of low atomic number fuse to form a heavier nucleus with the release of energy.

What do they have in common?

> The both can be used for energy, but nuclear Fission is very dangerous.

Our World Without Our Current Limitations Towards Energy

We will open a whole different universe torwards the way energy works. We will find a new way to work everything, so it is healthy towards the environment! Wow, I can not wait for that time!
