Hello to all of you Skippers out there! I hope your Labor Day weekend was filled with family and fun. It's the unofficial end of summer and Harding is back in action today. September brings school pictures, cooler temps, and pumpkin spice everything !

Friday Night Lights
It was a BIG Skipper win on Friday night against Newbury. This Skipper team looked downright fierce. Congratulations to you all for the first win of the season. See you Friday night at Berkshire.The band and cheer squad sounded awesome as well. Thanks for representing our school with such enthusiasm and grace.

Hooked on Salsa
Students spent Wednesday morning harvesting veggies from the community garden with Mr. Andersen, Mrs. Bauer and Miss Felix. The kids did can the salsa at St. Anthony's church as well. The tomatoes will be used to make salsa that will be available for sale soon. Thank you to all!
Drumline
The Harding Drumline performed like rock stars at the United Way festival at Captain's Stadium last week. They new uniforms looked really classy and they sounded fantastic. This band continues to impress. Please attend a game and listen to their Chicago show- it's amazing!

New You Can Use
- A special member of our Skipper family had a house fire last week. Harding is collecting donations to support them during this difficult time. Feel free to drop off donations in the Harding office.
- Breakfast starts at 7:40 in he lunchroom.
- Students may enter the building at 8:10.
- We had our first fire drill of the year last week- record time!!
Navigators
Our 8th grade team, the Navigators, went out to Camp Whitewood last Friday for a day of team building and bonding. Students went canoeing, fishing, and even launched rockets while measuring altitude and speed. There was a focus on leadership skills to coincide with their leadership unit here at school.
