Cookies
Debbi Fields' Aha moment
Debbi realized her dream of becoming a cookie chef at age 13 when she won a cookie baking contest. Ever since then she dreamed of becoming the head of a bakery. At age 20 she convinced her husband to loan her $50,000 in order to start her bakery, which soon grew into a cookie empire
What made Debbi successful?
Debbi was largely successful due to her passion for cookies. She defines herself as a cookie person, not a business person. Because she wanted to sell the best possible cookie, she was successful. Also, her work ethic played a large part in it. Debbi never took the day off.
