What are instructional rounds?
PLEASE NOTE: You may NOT sign up to observe at your own site.
Purpose:
When and Where:
- A PD opportunity where teachers observe their peers teaching at another site.
- Teachers will be split into small groups of 3-4 with a teacher trained in facilitating peer observation groups from that site.
- Groups will visit classrooms for 10-12 minutes and record trends and patterns.
- The day culminates with a lunchtime debrief to talk about what you can apply to your own teaching practice.

- To observe instructional strategies in a variety of subject areas
- To gain insights about teaching and learning that you can apply in your subject area and classroom.
When and Where:
Timing: Meet at 8:30 at the site. Lunch is provided and the day concludes at 1:30 pm.

March 9, 2017- Sequoia High School
March 14, 2017- Menlo-Atherton High
How to Register:
Please click on the button below to register. We will take a certain number of teachers from each site for each day. Preference will be given to teachers implementing common core standards or planning for their implementation. We will confirm your participation two weeks prior to the event.
