PreK, Kindergarten, and First Grade
- PreK-K: Try the Which Came First Activity to see how well you remember the story.
- 1st Grade: Try Fact or Fiction about garbage trucks.

Second Grade

- EXTENDED: Login to Google Classroom and practice changing fonts, font size, and other text features in Google docs. TURN IN this document to me when you finish so I can see what you learned.
Third Grade
- More on Copyright and Fair Use. Watch this BrainPop Video on Copyright. Those feeling daring, try the challenge questions at the end. It's okay to ask a grownup for help if you feel stuck. There is also a link in your Google Classroom.
- Watch and read along with this story of gardening, growth, and rebirth in a dark and unloved city. The Curious Garden by Peter Brown.

Fourth Grade
- Something Fun: Create a postcard for one of the states you researched using Google Slides or using materials found in your homes such as magazines or printed pictures. A template and directions will be available in your classroom on Monday.
- EXTENDED: Regions and States graphic organizers are in your Google Classroom. Flex your brain and research skills. I will post direct links to databases for you to use.
- Who doesn't love a read aloud? Choose to either read out loud to someone in your family or be read to on Storyline Online. It can be a book, a book chapter, a poem, or a magazine article.
- OPTIONAL but Interesting: Read about strange names of places in the USA in this Scholastic Magazine article
Fifth Grade
- EXTENDED: Please share your book talk form with me. I will post the Doc I created for all fifth grades and add new forms as I receive them.
- What book are you pondering for your 30 second Book Talk? Create a Google Form asking the question and share it with me. I will create one list of all the forms I receive and you can take each other's surveys. Full instructions will be in your Google Classroom. Click here to view my example.
