CIBOLO CREEK ELEMENTARY NEWS
BEES IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Dawn Tanner
Dawn has an identical twin and also has younger twin sisters. Her favorite place to be is in her jammies with her family. Dawn would like to be her grandmother for a day so that she could write down all the wonderful cajun recipes she knows to leave a legacy. Dawn would like to be remembered for sharing humor and being positive.
Laura Garcia
Laura has 2 different sized thumbs, one short and one tall. she loves being in her bathtub with bubbles. If she could be anyone for a day it would be Roger Mooney, the dance jam instructor because his job of dancing looks like so much fun. Laura would like to be remembered for being positive and making people feel loved.

From the Queen Bee
I love that we have so many Cibolo Creek Staff members who bring their personal children to school with them. It shows that you trust your peers to take good care of your child's social emotional, physical and academic growth. Please review these tips for keeping the parent/teacher relationships at school positive:
- As parents of Cibolo Creek Cubs, please set up an appointment with your child’s teacher if you need to conference with them. Likewise, staff will respect you as a parent and will set up appointments with you when a conference is needed.
- Children are not to interrupt their parent’s class for any reason during the school day. Parents should not interrupt their child in class for any reason during the school day.
- Children need to be supervised at all times before and after school. They need to be taught that they are not allowed in the Lounge, Workroom or Office. Your children need to stay in your classroom and work/play quietly so as not to disturb others who are working in the area. They should not be wandering the hallways or school grounds or playing in hallways or other common areas.
- The children of faculty and staff are not allowed in their parent’s classroom on campus during professional development days or work days.
CUBS HELPING OTHERS
- Our Lifeskills class is creating silverware packets to be used in the teacher's lounge. Items needed for this project are quart size baggies, plastic forks, and napkins.
- Our Lifeskills class will also be sharpening pencils on Mondays. If you are interested in having pencils sharpened, email Janet Sheppard.
