Cougar Community Connection
Principal, Shannon McPherson
12/22/23
What a great end to our week. From holiday parties to the wrap up of our "Power of One" projects, we are headed into break with full hearts. Thank you to all who participated in our partnership project with HRHS, collecting toys for kids who are at the Ronald McDonald houses fighting illnesses this holiday season. Check out the pic below of how many toys we collected along with Fox Creek Elementary. A shout out to Gabe Flexter, CRUN Alumni, who spearheaded this project. We were also able to give assistance to several families in need thanks to the proceeds from our Holiday Shop and an anonymous donation that came in from a Cougar Run family. The love of our community and the support toward one another continues to be a HUGE part of who we are at our sweet little school. We couldn't be more proud to be a part of the #CRUNFamily! Thank you to all of our families for volunteering to send our CRUNFamily onto this 2 week break with fantastic holiday parties. What a fun end to a great first semester.
We sent all of our staff and students off to the holidays with a new "Cougars" shirt to unite our learning community once again in our "#CRUNFamily Team". We received these shirts as a donation and were so grateful to be able to give a little token of love to each of our people for the holidays. We wish you all a happy and healthy holiday and look forward to seeing you all in the new year.

Our Building Engineer Needs Your Help
As you all know, the snow can be tricky in Colorado. When it is too light to shovel but too much to not tend to it, Jason could really use a "leaf blower/snow blower". If anyone has an old one laying around that you are no longer using, we would gladly take it off of your hands. Thank you so much for your consideration.
