What's Buzzin' at Bryant

Week of February 20, 2023

A Message from Mrs. Johnson

Hello Bryant families,

From the Super Bowl to NBA All-Star weekend! If you are a sports fan like I am, this weekend was filled with a lot of wonderful competition. I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.

As a reminder, report cards will be sent home this Friday. Please be sure to check your child's packback. Every student who has been enrolled at Bryant for more than 20 days will receive a T2 report card.

As we enter into trimester 3, the pace is really going to pick up. In a few weeks we will begin State testing for all students in grades 3-6. We will also begin ELPAC testing. The ELPAC test is required of all students whose primary language has been identified as one other than English. Attendance is of the utmost importance. Please ensure your child is at school on time everyday ready to go.

During trimester 3 we also experience an increase in behavior issues. We have already begun to see this shift. Behaviors such as defiance, disruptive classroom behavior, disrespect to all adults on campus, and inappropriate interaction with peers has grown. Parents, partner with us by speaking to your children about the importance of maintaining appropriate behavior while at school both in class and while on the playground. At Bryant, it is important to everyone that we have a school enviornment where everyone feels safe and comfortable to attend school. We appreciate your support.

As always, Bee Fantastic, Bee Great, Bee the Difference! Have a great week!

Core Virtues for the month of February - Honesty and Justice

Honesty and Justice are words that describe integrity and character of an individual. When an individual is honest they stand for what is right and look for positive outcomes to situations. Justice is the entity that we depend on as a Country and community to distinguish between what is right and what is wrong. Justice is what we depend on to keep us safe from harm and to live a better life.
