During our Monday Mindful practices we learn the power of breathing and being in the moment. As we start a new year we should breath in the new possibilities and be awesome.

In the coming weeks we will complete our performance for the The Hate U Give . And start a new unit "Putting America on Trail for racial discrimination and police brutality violations.

Special School Trip - Second Annual Mass Incarceration Symposium

Friday, Jan. 5th, 9:30am-12pm

3440 Market Street

Philadelphia, PA

U School students are invited to attend this special trip to view exhibits created by students at the Workshop School in order to learn people about the causes of mass incarceration and engage in dialogue about action that can be taken to address the issue of mass incarceration.

Seniors doing projects on Criminal Justice or Mass Incarceration are encouraged to attend as well as Freshmen, Sophomore, and Juniors, looking to get ahead start on the topic related to our unit 3, America on Trail.

The Business of Fashion @ Jan 6th Temple.

This seminar, will cover fashion trends, and help youth understand the world from not only the consumer’s viewpoint, but as future business owners or people creating fashion. To sign a student up, see Reed or click on the link above.
