Book Access for All Kids!
Do you have students in your class that may not have equitable access to books over the summer? I have been collecting donated books and books deleted in the library in hopes of creating Summer book bags for students. Please let me know if you have any students in mind so everyone can enjoy books over the Summer break!
What's been Happening in the Library this month?

4th Grade
Students finished their Mystery Animal project and presented them to class. They did a great job! We will now play some Book musical chairs to find some good reads for the summer!
5th Grade
Students are working hard on Animoto making their own book trailers to share with the class!
Skype Visits!
With our Microsoft accounts, we have access to Skype. Skype for the Classroom is a great resource to connect with experts and introduce and inspire your students to real people doing amazing things! You can take students on virtual field trips, collaborate with other classrooms around the world, guest speakers or play a mystery skype game. I have been using Skype to connect with authors and it really is pretty simple and easy to use.
