News from Room 40
February 2016
At a glance...
This month we'll be learning how to tell time (analog clocks) and periods of time (calendars, minutes, seconds, etc) during math. In reading, we will continue learning about folk tales with biographies, autobiographies and summarizing. In Science, they will learn about animal habitats and adaptations. In History, they will learn about Famous Americans.
We will have our Valentine's Day celebration on Friday, February 12 at the end of the day. If you would like to send any treats with your child for the class to enjoy, please be sure they are store bought and approved by the nurse. Students can bring valentines but we ask they bring one for every student in the class. We have 20 students in all and your child wrote every students' name in their agenda.
