Red Ribbon Week

Our Red Ribbon theme this year is:

No Prob-llama! I'm drug-free!

On October 12th, the Red Ribbon Week essay contest will be announced. This year, students can write an essay (grades K-1 can draw a picture with a caption/explanation) about overcoming an obstacle. A winner from each grade level will receive a prize. Essays are due on 10/21/21.

PMES will celebrate Red Ribbon Week from 10/25/21 - 10/29/21.

Veterans Day

Puckett's Mill Elementary is honored to celebrate our country's veterans on November 11. If you have a service member you would like to honor, please take a moment to add them to our slideshow using the link below. When adding your photo, be sure to include their name, their branch of service, and the student's name.

Project-Based Learning Community Survey

Puckett's Mill Elementary is incorporating Project Based Learning in Science, Social Studies, and Math. In order to tie in authentic, real-world connections, we are looking for individuals willing to share their knowledge and experiences with students. If you are willing to enhance the learning of countless students, please share with us: hobbies, present/past careers, areas of expertise, travels, the possibilities are endless by completing the form linked here. There are so many connections that can be made to our curriculum! Completing this form is not a commitment. If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Mrs. Lessard or Mrs. Banfield.

Media Center Volunteers Needed

We are also so excited to welcome back volunteers to our Media Center. We need your help! If you have some spare time, enjoy helping children, and helping out in your community...please fill out this Google form and we will contact you!
