RAINFOREST BIOME
In the rainforest biome, it is warm all year round, and has a very moist atmosphere. The rainforest biome is located near the equator, which helps make it so warm! The temperature in a rain forest rarely gets higher than 93 °F or drops below 68 °F due to its closeness to the equator. The average humidity is between 77 and 88%, and rainfall is often more than 100 inches a year!
Animals in The Rainforest
Many species of animals call this hot and humid biome home. These include the elephant, Embarle snake, many species of birds, and numerous other organisms call this humid location home.
