The Future Is Bright!
10/3-10/7
Hello Taylor Families! | Hola Familias de Taylor!
We are super excited for this year and want to ensure that you are aware of everything going on here at Taylor. I will be sending out a weekly newsletter that will include:
- Grade Level Information
- Upcoming Important Dates and Information
- A note from our Counselor, Mrs. Garcia
Important Information:
Important Times | Horarios Importantes:
Doors open | Las puertas habren: 7:15AM
Tardy Bell | Campana de Tardia: 7:40AM
Dismissal | Despido: 3:10PM
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
If a student arrives after 7:40AM, a parent/guardian is required to sign the student in the front office.
Due to our new safety and security protocols, parents will not be able to walk their students to class.
Parent Pickup: Please ensure that you have your car tag when picking up your students.
Dismissal: Students that are not picked up on time will need to go to our After School Program (ASP). Please note that there is a fee.
Here are a few reminders regarding dismissal:
- Safety is very important for us. You send us your best every day and we want to ensure that they are safe especially when there are moving cars around. We ask that you please stay off cell phones, as they can be a distraction, and that you limit the speed especially while still on school property.
- We understand that many parents come early to line up for dismissal. Please ensure that you are pulling up all the way possible. This will prevent anyone from cutting line.
- School ends at 3:10 and I try to ensure that teacher's time is respected as many have parent conferences and/or other duties to complete before they go home for the day. With that said, if you are not there by 3:30, and your student's name has not been called to line up to go outside to your car, then they will be sent to wait for you in the front office.
Congratulations to 5th grade for having the highest attendance last week!

**Parents/Guardians**
We've seen a number of students crossing from the church to the school during drop-off in the mornings. For student safety, please avoid doing that. We want to ensure that students are safe when they are coming to school and having students cross through there is not something we are allowing at the moment.
*Padres/Guardian**
