Romona Review: Back-to-School

2021

From the Principal

Dear Romona Families,

Welcome to the 2021-22 school year at Romona. We hope you have had a fabulous summer and that everyone has stayed healthy!

Our team has been working tirelessly this summer with lots of changes to our building! Construction has been successful and we now have enough space for our Kindergarten Enrichment & Enhancement Program, KEEP 39. We also have a fabulous new playground, thanks to our amazing Romona community and PTA! We can't wait to see our Mustangs play on it this fall.

While we are excited to return to a more normal school year, the safety and health of our students is still our number one priority. Our D39 Board of Education will be discussing mitigation measures at the Committee of the Whole meeting next week. Next week's Romona Review will outline the health and safety protocols that the Board of Education will finalize on August 18th.

We look forward to a super year at Romona and are excited to partner with you to support your mustang.

Stay safe & enjoy these last days of summer,

Cindy & Lisa
