Learning Letter
C&I Updates, Events, and Reflections - September 2018
New Format!
In this new quarterly newsletter, the C&I Department will curate communication to our schools and stakeholders. Please take a close look at all of the updates related to learning in GCISD!
Fall C&I Department Headlines
- The GCISD Curriculum Website just got a facelift! Take a look and enjoy finding everything in one place.
- Self-guided professional learning can be found on this new GCISD Instructional Support website. The C&I team has compiled a wide variety of content across many topics to allow teachers to learn on their own schedule. (This site will continue to grow throughout the year!)
- With all the talk this year of an RTI Reboot, many are asking about Tier I instruction and interventions. The Common Instructional Expectations documents are the best place to find the prioritized Tier I strategies and practices for each subject area. Check out their updated content and common formatting!
