KEEPING OUR STUDENTS SAFE
Safety is a top priority at Jackson Elementary. In order to ensure all of our staff and students are safe, each month we practice a safety drill.
January Safety (SRP) Drill:
This month we will be practicing an EVACUATION. An EVACUATION is used when there may be a danger inside the building. Students and staff move to a safe area.
Thank you for your partnership in keeping our students and staff safe. If you have any questions, please give Mrs. Beatty a call, 920-663-9522.

Zones of Regulation
Exciting news for all Jackson Jaguars for the 2022-23 school year…the Zones of Regulation Curriculum will be taught universally grades K-5 to help support social and emotional needs.
What are the Zones of Regulation?
The Zones of Regulation are a framework for teaching students strategies for emotional and sensory self regulation. The Zones approach uses 4 colors to help students identify how they are feeling emotionally. The curriculum teaches students strategies to self regulate, detect triggers of themselves and others, consider how their behavior can affect others, improve on emotional control, and develop problem solving abilities. The curriculum’s learning activities are designed to help students recognize when they are in different states of emotion or “zones”.
All of the zones are natural to experience, but the framework focuses on teaching students how to recognize and manage their zone based on the demands of their environment and the people around them in order to be “ready to learn”.
