Friday: Homeroom plus Periods 4/5-7 (no student had both 4 and 5)

Non-Student Day October 26: Mark your calendars - there is a non-student day scheduled for October 26th. Students will not have classes on this day.

Parent-Teacher Conferences: Oct. 26 will be a day for Parent-Teacher Conferences. Teachers will contact families with failing grades on the Progress Reports to set up conferences. Per a district agreement and time is limited, requests for conferences from the families of students performing at proficient levels or above, will not receive a conference, but teachers will be available to answer parent questions via email.

Return to Campus Update

Thursday night, the PUSD School Board spoke about PUSD’s plans for secondary schools (middle and high schools) reopening. Here is a summary of what was discussed:

We are working hard to keep kids reading and raise funds for our school library with our Scholastic Online Book Fair. The Fair will connect your kids to notable books and inspiring characters—helping them become lifelong readers. You’ll love the new option to experience the magic of the shopping experience through a Virtual Book Fair!

Rancho Penasquitos Halloween Spooktacular Event

RP Halloween Spooktacular Event, is hosted by the Penasquitos Town Council. They are looking for volunteers (adults and students) to help with a few different tasks that will assist in making sure the event runs smoothly.

Community service hours are available for any who participate.

Any residents of Rancho Penasquitos are welcome and can register to join us to construct booths:

  • 10/17 1-5 pm,
  • 10/18 1-4 pm;
  • 10/23 5-10 pm, (Day of Event) to help with setup or take down as well as traffic control.

Volunteers can register here.

They are also looking to secure some 10x10 pop-up tents to borrow for the event day.
