I sent home a test email earlier this week with just a few notes about the first day, if you did not receive this or would like to add an email. Please email at jsalmon@bsd44.org and I will add you to the list.
I will highlight our week and give you a peek into the upcoming week. I'm excited to share our classroom happenings with you this way. I look forward to a great year and many many days filled with just as much fun as we have started with.
A peek at our week!

Reminders
Birthday Celebrations
Please let me know if you have questions or need suggestions. Items will be shared at the end of the day during our "study hall" time.
On another note, to avoid awkward situations please mail or give out any invitation outside of school. This helps all children from feeling left out.

Absences/Tardy
If you know in advance that your child will be out for any reason I'm happy to try and get items together prior to leaving. This will help with keeping up.
"Anything more than 6 your child is at risk". This is a great way to think about absences that students will often miss out on important learning opportunities and instruction that just can not be replicated. If your child is able to attend school this is the best opportunity for them to learn and gain confidence in their education. Please try to make sure your child is at school whenever they are healthy enough to attend.
