Mozart's Early Life

Wolfgang Mozart was a musical prodigy since the beginning. He was born on January 27, 1756 in Salzburg, Austria. Mozart's father was a musician. At the age of 5, he composed a minuet. He performed for the Viennese Royal Court at the age of 6. He wrote his first symphony at nine years old. Mozart died on December 5th, 1791. He was penniless when he died.

This is a map of where Mozart was born. He lived here for most of his life. In 1781, he left Salzburg to seek his fortune in Vienna, which was one of the musical capitals of Europe.

Symphony No. 41- Jupiter

Mozart created Symphony No. 41 and called it Jupiter. This is his most famous symphony. This was created in the year 1788. He was 32 years old when he created this amazing symphony.
