STATE WINNING FLORICULTURE TEAM

Congratulations to Ashley Burruel, Emily Smith, Eleda Castro, and Elery Martin, the State Winning Floriculture team! They will represent Arizona in the National Floriculture Career Development Event in October located in Indianapolis, Indiana.

This is an extremely difficult contest to win. Students had to take an online test, create a triangle floral arrangement, corsage, a floral display, problem solve greenhouse production scenarios, identify plant diseases and insects, memorize 150 plants and tools by common and botanical names, and learn how to respond to customer complaints.
