CALL FOR COACHES
Harbor Light Swordsmen sports teams have thrived since the beginning of the school with amazing Christian role models who have volunteered as coaches for our students. We have a couple opportunities opening up at HLCS coming up this spring and next fall!
Our softball coach, Kurt Brushaber has decided his coaching experience would come to an end with his daughter graduating last year. Also, our soccer program, which has been a staple in HLCS athletics since the inception of the school, fizzled out a couple of years ago with a lack of interest. However, after speaking to our upcoming students, we appear to have a great deal of kids interested in soccer again! This will require a coach to facilitate reviving the program.
If either of these are a place you would enjoy investing your time, please contact our athletic director, Shelda Blair at sblair@harborlight.org.

***HLCS STAR STUDENTS***
Jason McKay, 4th Grade
"Jason has such a fun loving personality. He showed kindness and maturity as he complimented another student on their new braces."
- Mrs. Johnson
Brielle Manthei, 4th Grade
"She is a hard worker. She is on task and always finds a good way to use her free time. She includes others in her group and creates fun games to play on recess. Such a sweet Girl."
- Mrs. Johnson
Caleb Chamberlin, 5th Grade
"I had been told that Caleb had a heart to give before I even had him as a student, but I've seen it to be true on multiple occasions. You can tell he lives life with other's well being in mind - like the time he gave up his large lollypop just purchased in our class store because another student was just shy of the money needed to purchase his own large lollypop."
