What's Up?

We have been working hard in class. In Math, we have worked on dividing and multiplying decimals. Please make sure you are working on this with your child, as it is a difficult concept to master. In Science, we are finishing our heredity unit. This past week, we learned about inventors in Social Studies. In Writing, we worked on developing a new invention/innovation and we created a brochure based on what we came up with.

Up Next...

The week before a break is always crazy, but we are going to pack in a LOT of learning. We will continue to work on dividing decimals, and in science, we will begin classification. Immigration will be the focus of Social Studies, which is why I sent home the family tree project. Please fill that out as far back as you can with any information you have. In ELA, we will focus on interjections and latin/greek roots in words (bi, tri, quad, etc).

This Friday, November 21st, is pajama day. Your child may wear their pjs to school. They earned this day by earning $30 per lap at the Fun Run!
