The Early College Success Team wants to wish everyone happy holidays as the semester comes to an end! We hope that everyone has a joyous break as we welcome the new year! We also wish that you and your family stay safe during these troubling times!
- December 3rd: Fall - last day of classes & Extended Drop Date
- December 4th: Dead Day
- December 7-11th: Final Exams
- December 16th: Grades are Due
- December 17th: Grades are posted to student records
Greater Texas Foundation 2.0 Scholars
Recently, we held workshops for our GTF 2.0 Scholars throughout this past month!
Thank you to everyone who attended and we hope that the information that your received was helpful! We hope to be able to see you soon face-to-face!
If you were not able to attend your designated session, we will be soon releasing information for your next steps to complete this requirement of the scholarship!
Students were able to complete their workshops via Zoom from our Program Advisor, Martin Ramirez!
Students were able to learn various topics pertaining to their current situation! Here, Cohort III Scholars learned about Financial Literacy such as establishing credit, scholarships, and loans!
Finals week is upon us! We wish you the best of luck as you conquer your Finals! Please take advantage of the tutoring services and resources that can help you on our website!
If you are feeling overwhelmed and stressed out, you can meet with a CAPS counselor over Zoom to discuss techniques to reduce your stress! They are providing consultations to students till December 11th and you can make an appointment by calling 915.747.5302 !

To those of you who are graduating this semester, congratulations!
You have come so far in your educational journey and the future awaits you. We know that you all are capable of amazing things and the Early College Success Center can't wait to see what you accomplish next!
