Building a Media Hub
Colleagues at Fernandina Beach High School wanted to share the exciting things that Ms. French, Media Specialist, is coordinating for her school. College, Career, and Coffee is a grant-funded program to assist students in preparing for college. See below for a portion of one of the invitations for the students.
The first-grade teachers at Yulee Primary really "stick together" as a team!
K Kreamery Ice Cream Truck recently came to visit Yulee Primary's teachers after students were dismissed.
The teachers enjoyed their sweet treat!

Exploring the Right to Vote
Students at Callahan Middle School exercised their civic rights by participating in the 2018 Mock Election through their social studies classes.
Pizza Planets
Learning is out of this world!
The 5th-grade students at Hilliard Elementary have been studying the different types of scientific investigations.
Students built a model of their very own solar system that included the planets, their moons, asteroids, and comets.
Mrs. Febles, Fernandina Beach High School, was pleased with a recent class donation. Health Care Managers, Inc. with Steve Sell and Aaron Morgan made a very generous donation of a power lift to her classroom, which will make transferring and lifting students safer for everyone. Mrs. Febles stated, "I cannot begin to tell you how grateful we are to have the support of our community and all of you who share in our excitement. Thanks for being here for our kids."
Camp Stories
Hilliard Elementary School held their first Campfire Reading of the year. Over 80 students and parents came to read together and to enjoy a cookie and juice snack.
Students and their families enjoyed 'camping out' to read together!
