What's new in Class Dojo

First of all let me say thank you to all of the parents who are always in contact with me on Class Dojo. It is typically the fastest way to get a hold of me. I also hope that you are using it as a tool to encourage your children to continue to work hard and further their education. The first step in that is to be on task and following classroom and school expectations. Sadly I have seen a decrease in this area. In other words they are starting to slack off or get lazy.

As a way to encourage students and get them to understand a growth mindset, Class Dojo has come out with a series of short videos featuring the Class Dojo mascot Mojo. If you have a spare 5 minutes please take time to watch them yourself or show them to your child again.

Class Dojo has also added a new feature to their class story. Now you can not only add pictures but you can also add videos. Be on the look out for some videos from me!

Bonus Question:

Mrs. Fendt needs to have cookies and banana bread baked for dessert at 6:45 pm.For the cookies it takes her 12 minutes to measure and prepare the ingredients, 7 minutes to mix and 30 minutes to bake. For the banana bread it takes 6 minutes to measure and prepare the ingredients, 4 minutes to mix, and 30 minutes to bake.

At what time should she start making the cookies and banana bread so it will be ready for dessert?
